Craft for Care
What is Craft For Care?
At GROW Lincoln Heights, we believe in prioritizing all members of our community, including families affected by the ICE raids. Food Vendors are our neighborhood's prized entrepreneurs who are unable to operate their businesses and provide for their families due to being targeted by ICE enforcements.
In efforts to fundraise and provide financial support to East Los Angeles Food Vendors, GROW Lincoln Heights has designed, “Craft For Care”, an intimate collaboration between local Artists and our local food vendors.
How does it work?
-
We ask that you consider donating or creating a body of work to support our cause, which will be raffled to a customer who has provided GROW Lincoln Heights with funds that support local food vendors. You acknowledge that your work will be donated to GROW Lincoln Heights, ultimately to be raffled to a customer. In exchange, GROW Lincoln Heights will highlight your practice online with a post.
-
By participating in a Craft for Care silent auction, 100% of proceeds will be invested in and granted to local food vendors. Each auction item features handmade artwork or goods created by local makers and artists.
